2019 Student Fair – EdUHK Lunar New Year Fair

To celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year, the Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) will host the “2019 Student Fair – EdUHK Lunar New Year Fair”, providing EdUHK students with an opportunity to develop their entrepreneurial spirits and gain hands-on experience in running booths. The Fair also serves to enhance connections between EdUHK and the Tai Po Community. The Fair open to public for free. All are welcome!

When? 11 am to 6 pm, 25 & 26 January 2019 (Friday & Saturday)
Where? Central Plaza and Podium Level of Blocks B1 to B4, The Education University of Hong Kong, 10 Lo Ping Road, Tai Po, NT

The Fair comprises 52 stalls run by EdUHK students, schools, NGOs, social enterprises and commercial sponsors selling Chinese New Year decorations, handmade crafts, gifts, fashion accessories, food and other items of interest.

Major attractions:

Apart from shopping fun, visitors can also enjoy:

  • live performances by EdUHK, primary school and kindergarten students
  • face painting, DIY workshops, and more
  • children playground with bouncy castles and game booths for children
  • an opportunity to experience AR (augmented reality) and VR (virtual reality) in education
  • a visit to EdUHK Library’s state-of-the-art facilities and the “Hong Kong School Uniform – Past and Present” exhibition at Hong Kong Museum of Education
  • snacks and drinks
  • special offers at various stalls
  • games with attractive prizes sponsored by 4M Industrial Development Ltd., Lee Kum Kee, Knife Oil and AXE (limited offer, while stocks last)
