Entrepreneurship and Innovation Activities Supporting GE Curriculum

Background

To nurture entrepreneurial culture among EdUHK students and to offer students with formal opportunities to learn and develop entrepreneurial and innovative skills and mindsets, CEIE provides entrepreneurship and innovation (E&I) activities for credit-bearing Experiential Learning Courses (ELCs) on E&I offered by GEO and Faculties from 2022-2023 onward.

E&I Activities

Students enrolled in the respective GE Courses and EI Ambassadors of CEIE will have priority to register. Places are limited and remaining quota will be open to all EdUHK students through registration on a first-come-first-served basis. Promotional emails of the activities with registration procedures will be sent to all EdUHK students by email.

Grading System of the 1-cp E&I Activities Organised by CEIE

Grading Requirement
Pass

Fulfil the minimum attendance requirement of 80% of the activities; AND
Complete the assessment tasks.

Fail

Fail to meet the minimum attendance requirement of 80% of the activities; OR
Fail to complete the assessment tasks.

Attendance

Students will be asked to scan a QR code during the activities to answer ONE of the following question:

  • From the background search of the organisation and the invited guest(s), what are their major achievements and roles?
  • What are the interesting aspects that you found from the background of the organisation and the invited guest(s) and their major achievements?
  • What are the challenges that the organisation and the invited guest(s) may have faced?
  • A question that you would like to ask the guest(s)?
